Mobilization Techniques for Spinal Cord Injuries

Basic mobilisation and myofascial release techniques for Health Care professionals aiding people with spinal cord injury.

Sebastien Papailhau, Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, SPMPO/ BCO worked as a Kinésétherapeute (equivalent of a Physiotherapist) in France from 2002-2015. His experience includes 1 year working in Penbron Rehabilitation Centre as well as having many longterm patients with reduced mobility.
Since 2010 he has worked as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, in charge of the Visceral unit at the Institut of Osteopathy in Rennes, until moving to Nelson, BC in 2015.

The key points of focus for this workshop will be joint mobilization and respiratory techniques to prevent respiratory infection and support overall health for people with spinal cord injury.
